10 measures taken to reduce cost of enterprises in Hengqin

Rental costs, living cost of employees, and cost on recruitment and energy...Enterprises in Hengqin are delighted that these costs are to go down as new measures come out on March 28.

The 10 measures, released by Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, also include transportation service and educational service.

Three polices in effect modified to benefit more enterprises

Firstly, Hengqin now provides five, previously three, years of office rent subsidies for sci-tech enterprises. The subsidies in the last two years will be half of that of the first three years.

Secondly, policy of rental subsidies and living allowance has been adjusted to apply to more people working in Henqin. Employees with a college degree or lower can receive an allowance of 20 thousand yuan and 8000 thousand yuan respectively.

Thirdly, Hengqin has also lifted the previous limit for office buildings and office parks to apply for subsidies to open up canteens.

Special policy on the way for Macao Investors

According to one of the measures, Hengqin will launch a special policy to support Macao investors who grasp the opportunity in the in-depth cooperation zone, offering subsidies for officer rent, commercial building rent and research and development expenses as well as rewards for brand landing and revenue-related bonus.

Meanwhile, Hengqin will optimize its educational service by accelerating the construction of kindergartens and elementary schools and working with prestigious educational institutions to offer high-quality education.
